Percentiles are within the full ranked cohort: English-language publications with at least 1,000 words. Audience counts use the positive-count cohort, with zero at zero. Move the weights below to explore.
how this is ranked
Every factor is a percentile within a named cohort. Audience counts use the positive-count cohort; the other factors use the full ranked cohort. A score is a weighted average of factor percentiles, grouped into six composites; the overall leaderboard orders publications by those raw composite scores. Moving a slider recomputes the percentiles in this browser and saves the experiment locally. The info button beside any node gives the exact metric.
the corpus
English-language standard.site publications, scored from their own posts. Authors are shown for attribution; they are not scored.
This first cohort is English-only because the readability and
word-frequency tools are built for English. Other languages are indexed
and shown in the filter counts, not scored. That is a tooling limit,
not a judgment. A publication can opt out by setting
preferences.showInDiscover to false.
